Enough about Moon real estate for sale or Mars real estate, why we should purchase land on the Moon or whatever! Let’s touch on something that will really make you think.
Being of Indian origin makes my ethnic background Indian but being born and raised in Wellington (New Zealand) makes my nationality New Zealand or Kiwi. While people tend to get the terms ethnic background and nationality mixed up (a bit like theatre and cinema) the fact of the matter is that your ethnic background is your race while where you were born determines your nationality.
But what if you were born on the Moon or Mars? Well, being born on the Moon would make you a Lunarian by nationality and on Mars it would make you a Martian, despite whatever ethnicity you identified with.
So, it looks like the future will be full of aliens from the Moon and Martians from our neighbouring world… and Earthlings from the mother planet.
It makes you think.
